Membership – Renewals and new memberships during COVID-19
If your membership account has lapsed, you can pay your annual $10 fee now via e-transfer (email@example.com), by mailing a cheque (to Slocan Community Library, Box 135, Slocan, B.C. V0G 2C0), or by bringing exact change when you pick up your bag of goods.
Volunteers are working hard to restart services safely. We’re looking forward to seeing you again!
If you wish to become a new member of the library during the COVID -19 pandemic, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make arrangements to have you fill out a form with your name, address, etc., pay the $10.00 annual fee, and show a piece of mail, a cheque or a driver’s license with your address on it.
Children may become members and have their own cards, free of charge for ages 16 and under, if their parents or guardians are members. We encourage all adults to have their own membership.
Members of the Slocan Community Library are entitled to take out 10 items per visit. This can include books, DVDs, CDs and audio books. Books are signed out for 28 days and if necessary, two renewals are possible. Media items are signed out for 7 days with the opportunity for renewals. We encourage patrons to return their borrowed items on time as this allows others to have access to them.
