About

The Slocan Community Library is located in the heart of the Village of Slocan, at the north end of the Health and Wellness Center. The building that was once an old school house is owned by the Village of Slocan. It has been renovated to accommodate the Library, Fitness Center, and Medical Facility.

The Library is operated by a dedicated group of volunteers, and relies on grants, donations, and public memberships to keep it thriving.

The Library has a well-balanced collection of fiction and non-fiction materials, with outstanding collections in gardening, cooking and mysticism, just to name a few. There are many books for children and young adults, and the CD, DVD, video, and audio books selections are always expanding.

  • You can commit to a scheduled day (wither weekly or bi-weekly)
